COE Style Manual 2011

Version 3.5 of the Style Manual for the College of Engineering is a 272-page guide revised in 2011 as a result of student and faculty feedback to include the following: 

  • Reorganization of sections from general guidelines on technical writing, to more specific discussions of 3 types of lab reports
  • Updated and expanded, numerous examples throughout
  • Inclusion of an index
  • General reformatting and editing for improved readability
  • Designed for the College of Engineering @ ERAU-Prescott
  • A guide to writing various technical documents, primarily lab reports
  • A teaching tool to help students learn disciplinary standards for writing in 'engineering' language.
